The beginnings

Born in Montreal, Jennifer’s early childhood summers were spent in a magical place called Sally’s Pond. Her Grandparents had the cottage up the hill and Jennifer would go out in the boat and row until Grandmother had her drop anchor. Then hours were spent watching her mix her paints and recreate the view before them on the canvas. She often wondered why her Grandmother didn’t give her lessons. Then she picked up a makeup brush and started mixing. She had been given ten years of floating color theory.

With the encouragement of her mentor, Canadian metaphysician-poet, Dr. Kenneth G. Mills, she trained as a makeup artist. Her first project in 1994, prior to her formal training at The Berger Institute of Production Technology, was an interview by Rolland Smith of Dr. Kenneth Mills shot on a High Def camera being tested by Sony.

The culmination of these expansive life experiences led to incredible self-discovery and wanting to share that with others through makeup. What makes her approach unique is her philosophy…”Beauty is an outward expression of your inner intention.”
